Description

Beaton, 1861. Small, single storey, gabled, former telephone exchange, now surgery, with Tudor details, sited to E of stables. Stugged, coursed granite; base course; polished dressings.

W gable: chamfered arrises to 2-leaf hoodmoulded door at centre, blind gunloops flanking and blank shield in gablehead.

S elevation: panelled door at centre with letterbox fanlight, flanked by windows.

N elevation: blind arrowslit at centre, flanked by windows.

E gable: 2 blind arrowslits.

12-pane glazing in sash and case windows. Graded grey slates. Gablet coped skews with kneelers and scroll-bracketed skewputts. Ball finials. Stone stack to centre of ridge.
