Description
52 Henderson Street is a house from the earlier to mid 19th century, with later additions. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure built of rubble, featuring squared and tooled quoins, an ashlar quoin strip, and an ashlar eaves band. The house has later canted windows with chamfered arrises and dividing cornices. The central entrance has a pilastered and corniced door with a plate glass fanlight above, and there is an architraved window above the door. Full-height canted windows are present in the flanking bays, while the return elevations are blank with ashlar wallhead stacks.
The windows are 4-pane timber sash and case. The roof is a grey slate piended design.
At the front, there is an ashlar coped dwarf wall that supports decorative iron railings.
