Description

54 and 56 Henderson Street in Bridge of Allan is a mid-19th century building featuring two stories and an attic. The structure is built from rubble and has a one-window layout between end canted bays on the first floor. The ground floor shop is finished in painted ashlar and retains its original cast-iron front, which includes a modillioned cornice, consoles, and angle urns. The roof is slated, with a single canted dormer and original glazing on the upper floor.
