Description

The Henderson Street Clock in Bridge of Allan was created by Walter MacFarlane & Co at the Saracen Foundry in Glasgow. It is made of cast iron and likely follows a design by Sellars. The clock features a pedestal with four claw feet on a plinth, a column adorned with foliage relief at the lower part that is fluted above, and a floriated capital and base. At the top, there is a square-domed clock. The design incorporates a mix of classical and Art Movement elements.
