Description
The Westerton Arms, located at 34 Henderson Street in Bridge of Allan, is a building that may have been designed by William Stirling in 1831. It features a cottage style with later additions and alterations. The structure is two stories high and built from rubble, with a one-window advanced gabled section that includes a canted bay on the ground floor to the left. The main section has two windows, with the ground floor extending out to include a half-timber gabled entrance porch and a pilastered enclosed verandah. The building is finished in painted stone with painted margins and has a slated roof. Notably, it retains its original glazing.
