Description
Hunters Lodge Hotel is an asymmetrical villa built around 1865, featuring two storeys and an attic. The structure is made of coursed rubble with freestone dressings. On the left side, there is an advanced gabled section with a canted bay that extends through both floors, topped by a round-arched window at the attic level. To the right, there is another canted bay through both floors, with a round-arched gabled dormer above it, as well as a smaller round-arched dormer at the centre. The ground floor bay has an unfortunate treatment of the porch and glazing. The building has been extended at the rear and has a slated roof.
