Meadowpark, Beaconhurst Grange School, Kenilworth Road, Bridge Of Allan

Meadowpark, located at Beaconhurst Grange School on Kenilworth Road in Bridge of Allan, is an early Victorian large detached neo-Jacobean mansion. It is designed in the style of the Burn and Bryce school and features fine detailing. The building has a two-storey L-plan front facing Kenilworth Road, with a gabled left-hand bay that includes a balustraded canted bay extending through both floors. To the right, there is a one-window bay topped with a pedimented dormer head. The center of the façade features a gabled entrance bay with an architraved doorpiece, a sculptural relief, and a single window with a strap work pediment above.

The building also has a five-window front facing Henderson Street, which includes three alternately arranged one-window gabled sections. The left and middle sections have segmentally pedimented and strap-worked windows, while the right-hand section features a canted bay that extends through both floors. There are pedimented dormer heads above two intermediate bays, with the left one being bipartite. The roof is slated, and decorative scrolled crowsteps add to the architectural interest. The chimneys are triple-shafted, with the central shaft spiraled. A two-storey back wing was reconstructed in 1976. The property is further enhanced by ashlar gatepiers and surviving spear-headed railings.
