14 Kenilworth Road, Bridge Of Allan

14 Kenilworth Road is an early Victorian detached villa with later additions and alterations, designed in a Swiss chalet style. The building is two stories high with a dormerless attic and has a square-plan made of coursed rubble. It features a broad-eaved, low-pitched roof with prominent gables on the north and south fronts. The north front has a central round-arched doorpiece flanked by tripartite windows on the ground floor, and a cantilevered verandah above. The first-floor windows are simply architraved, and there is a small bipartite window in the attic. The eaves are cantilevered and have traceried bargeboards. The south front includes a canted bay that extends through two floors on the right, with an oriel window on the first floor to the left and a single window in between, which also has a small bipartite window in the attic. The building was later raised to include an early 20th-century canted bay front with an open ground floor on the south side.
