Description

95 and 97 Henderson Street in Bridge of Allan is an early Victorian building featuring two stories and an attic. It is constructed from coursed rubble with lighter ashlar dressings and a prominent main cornice. The front facing Henderson Street has two bays and includes a canted bay that extends through both floors on the left side, which is topped with a pediment. The symmetrical west front has three windows and a central doorpiece with pilasters, accessed by railed steps. The building has a shaped chimney gable with a central attic window. The roof is slated, featuring a straight-sided canted dormer with a bowed roof on the Henderson Street side. The ground floor retains its original glazing, while the upper windows have been reglazed.
