Description

38-42 Bloomgate in Lanark is a two-storey corner building dating from around 1830. It is constructed of ashlar stone and features modern shop fronts. The first floor has four windows with altered glazing, and there is one window on a shallow recessed curve. The building has a cornice and a piended slate roof. Additionally, there are nine windows facing Hope Street, which is related to the properties at 4, 6, 8, and 10 Hope Street.
