Description
30 Bloomgate is a building dating from around 1830, featuring two storeys and five windows. The exterior is finished in stucco, painted black, and designed to imitate ashlar jointing. The central entrance is recessed and flanked by pilasters, with a rectangular fan light set behind two Roman Doric columns in antis. To the left, there is a late 19th century shop front with a pend in the left bay. The right side has a pilastered ground floor with a central window. There is a cill course with moulded aprons below the windows, positioned between the pilasters. An entablature runs across the entire facade between the ground and first floors. The first floor has five windows, with the central one now raised. The building features an eaves course, cornice, and blocking course, along with straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof.
