Description
129 Maxwellton Avenue is a late 18th century cottage featuring a single storey and attic design with five bays. The exterior is constructed from squared and snecked rubble, with raised cills.
On the northwest elevation, there is an entrance door located in the central bay, flanked by single windows of varying sizes. The first and fifth bays have canted attic dormer windows, while there is a large blank wall to the right. The gable end is painted white and also blind.
The cottage has modern astragal glazing for the house and modern two-pane glazing for the dormer windows. It is topped with a slate roof and has a painted stack on the roof ridge.
