Description

142 Maxwellton Avenue is a late 18th century cottage featuring four bays and a single storey with an attic. The exterior is harled with painted margins and includes a band course and an eaves course.

On the southwest elevation, the entrance door is located in the third bay from the left, with single windows in the other bays. The outer bays have canted attic dormer windows, and there is a central skylight. The cottage has modern two-pane glazing and a slate roof, with large rubble coped stacks at the gableheads.
