Description

Dated 1906 on east gable. Single storey and attic T-plan

range. Main block is snecked rubble with polished red

sandstone dressings and quoins, wing to north is harled.

South elevation has 3 asymmetrical bays. Pedimented porch to

right with segmental-headed doorway and fanlight breaking

into pediment. Tripartite above has piended dormer head.

Shallow advanced gabled bay to left has canted 4-light window

to ground floor with piended slate roof, and iron brattishing. Simplified Venetian window above. Narrow central bay has

small window below crest and motto 'Nil Despcarandum' and

single window above. Barge-boarded gables and projecting

eaves. Corniced brick end stacks and slate roof. Single

storey greenhouse to right has large Gothic window with

perpendicular tracery, and hood mould with label stops, on

east gable.
