Description
Kiledin is a symmetrical, two-storey, three-bay house built in the later 19th century. The exterior features painted stugged ashlar with margins. A central recessed doorway has a shouldered head and is framed by an elaborate Ionic pilastered doorpiece, topped with a decorative bracketed cornice that includes lion masks. The canted windows in the outer bays have simple cornices and blocking courses. On the first floor, there is a central hood-moulded bipartite window with shouldered lights, flanked by hood-moulded tripartite windows with round-headed lights, which are divided by shafts with foliated caps. The house also has an eaves course, cornice, end stacks, and a slate roof.
