Morris House, 1-3 Markethill Road, East Kilbride

Morris House, located at 1-3 Markethill Road in East Kilbride, is an 18th-century single-storey building with five bays. It is constructed from squared and snecked rubble with raised margins.

On the south elevation, there are three single windows on the right, followed by a door and another single window. The north elevation features four irregularly spaced windows, which are protected by gauze. The east elevation has a single window in the right bay, also with protective mesh.

The building has modern glazing and a grey slate roof with straight skews. It includes distinctive scrolled skewputs, which may have been reused from another location, as well as short coped stacks at the wallheads and one in the center of the roof.
