Description

Castlebar, located at 32 and 34 Castlegate in Lanark, is an earlier 19th-century building that was originally two houses. It is a two-storey, five-bay terrace constructed of snecked rubble with painted margins, featuring ashlar quoins and droved dressings. The ground floor has four windows arranged in pairs, with a blocked door on the left, a central door, and a pend in the right bay. The first floor also has four windows. The building has straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof, along with a rear stair turret.
