Description

54 Castlegate in Lanark is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house. It is constructed of snecked rubble with droved ashlar dressings and quoins. The building features a central door flanked by windows, with two additional windows on the first floor that retain their original lying-pane glazing. It has an eaves course, straight skews, and a single stack located to the north. The roof is covered with slate.
