Description
Castlepark Lodge, located on Broomgate in Lanark, is a building from the mid-19th century that was altered around 1880 by architect William Leiper. It features one storey and an attic, constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings. The central bay contains a door flanked by two windows, and there is one later dormer above. To the left and right, there are single bay extensions; the left extension is harled with one window, while the right extension is made of rubble, has one window, and features a crow-stepped gable. The building has a slate roof with a red tiled ridge. It is linked by a wall to the carriage arch and gate, as well as the foot entrance of Castlepark.
