Description

53 and 55 Castlegate in Lanark is a two-storey, three-bay house dated 1824, as indicated on the door lintel. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with painted quoins and dressings. It features a central door flanked by windows, and there are three windows on the first floor. The house has straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof.
