Description

Mid to later 18th century with later alterations. 2-storey, 3-bay, rectangular-plan house set in hillside. Heavily-pointed rubble sandstone. Rubble quoins; rubble relieving arches above ground floor openings to front; rendered margins in part; some projecting cills.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: part-glazed timber door centred at ground; single windows flanking at ground. Single windows in all bays at 1st floor.

W (SIDE) ELEVATION: gable end with single windows at ground and 1st floors in bay to left; small attic light off-set to left of centre.

E (SIDE) ELEVATION: gable end with projecting rubble wall adjoined at ground off-set to right of centre. Single window at 1st floor in bay to right; small attic light off-set to right of centre.

Predominantly 4-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows. Modern pantiles to steeply pitched roof; stone-coped skews. Brick-built apex stacks; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1999.
