Court House Lodge, Court House Place, Coldstream

Court House Lodge is a house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, with alterations and an addition made in 1983. It is a two-storey, two-bay structure. The front (east) features rock-faced stonework on the ground floor, while the first floor and other sides are finished with sneck harled rubble. The building has angle margins and long and short angle and window quoins on the first floor at the front and on the sides.

The front has a door on the left, which is sheltered by a mid-19th century porch that has a gable, bargeboards, and a slated roof. To the right of the door is a flat-headed window with a recessed apron. There is a band course above the ground floor. The first floor has two round-headed windows, which have modern glazing.

The north elevation has two bays with windows similar to those on the front. The south elevation features a modern bipartite window on the ground floor and one round-headed window on the first floor. At the rear, there is a single-storey flat-roofed extension and two round-headed windows on the first floor. The roof is pyramidal and covered with slate, and the chimney stacks have been removed.
