Description
Castle Guest House, located at 11 High Street in Coldstream, is likely from the late 18th century. This three-storey, four-bay public house features a front and side that are rendered and lined to resemble ashlar. The ground floor has undergone modern alterations, while the upper windows are sashes with modified glazing. On the side of the building, there is one sash window on each floor to the left. The roof is slate, with gabled wallhead brick stacks and straight skews that have rolled skewputts. At the rear, there is a rounded three-storey stair tower topped with a conical roof. The windows have 12-pane glazing.
