Description

Bridge Over The Stank is a single span road bridge, likely built in the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from rubble sandstone and spans north to south over The Stank burn. The bridge features substantial masonry spandrels, abutments, and quadrant wing walls that appear to be from the same construction period. It has a low parapet wall with rounded coping, which has been partially rebuilt on the west side, and is made up of rubble voussoirs.
