Description
The North Entrance at Kames dates from the earlier to mid 19th century. It features whitewashed harl and has coped quadrant walls that flank the entrance to the northwest of Kames House. The entrance includes coursed and whitewashed square-plan outer piers topped with pyramidal caps. There are also taller, coursed and whitewashed square-plan gatepiers, which also have pyramidal caps, and the entrance is completed with two-leaf spearheaded iron gates.
