Mason's Lodge, 2 Market Place, Eyemouth

Mason's Lodge, located at 2 Market Place in Eyemouth, is a building from the later 18th century. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a harled exterior featuring ashlar dressings. The west front has a ground floor that is rendered to resemble snecked bull-faced rubble, with a rendered plinth below and a band course above. The first-floor windows are taller than those on the ground floor, and their architraves are lugged, with cills supported by corbels. A moulded eaves course extends at the ends over the quoins. The entrance is situated in Mason's Wynd. The roof is gabled and slated, with the skews following the line of the bellcast roof, and the chimneys have been rebuilt in brick.
