Description
4 and 6 Market Place in Eyemouth is a mid-18th century building featuring a marriage lintel dated 1735. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a rendered exterior that is lined to resemble ashlar. The building has painted, rendered margins and a plinth, with a central door and a later shop entrance added to the right. The glazing has been renewed. The roof is slated, with a straight skew to the north and rectangular end stacks, which have been reduced and rebuilt in their upper parts.
