Description
63-65 Main Street in Douglas is a building dated 1762, as indicated on the lintel, although its window openings have been altered and now feature modern glazing. The structure is built from rubble with ashlar margins. It has three windows separated by two doors, with the left door recently blocked. On the first floor, there are three windows, separated by smaller windows, with the right window now blocked. The building has a crow-stepped gable on the southwest side, along with end and ridge stacks, and a slate roof.
