Description
61 Main Street in Douglas is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall and features three narrow bays. The ground floor is finished in polished ashlar, while the first floor is rendered in droved stone. The central entrance door is flanked by shop windows that include apron panels. Above the ground floor, there is a continuous cornice. The first floor has two sash windows with chamfered margins and lying-pane glazing located in the outer bays. The building is topped with a cornice, a central wall-head stack, and a piended slate roof.
