Description
4 Langtongate in Duns is a late 18th century, two-storey, two-bay terraced house that has been refaced. The exterior features raised concrete margins and a stugged cement render that is lined to resemble ashlar stone. There is a glazed door on the left side, and to the right, an enlarged landscape window at the ground floor with a timber mullion, along with a window on the first floor. A leaded box-dormer is also present.
The rear elevation was not visible in 1993. The house has timber sash and case plate glass windows, although the dormer has uPVC windows. The roof is covered with grey slates and has a coped mutual skew to the left, along with brick stacks at the apex.
