Hundalee Bank, Newcastle Road, Lightpipebrae Plantation

Hundalee Bank is a single-storey, three-bay T-plan cottage built in the earlier to mid-19th century, featuring Regency style with later alterations. The cottage is constructed from cream droved sandstone with ashlar dressings and has stop-chamfered angles. The central entrance consists of a flush-panelled, two-leaf door with a rectangular fanlight, flanked by tripartite windows. There are single bay return elevations, and a door has been added to the modern lean-to conservatory on the south side. At the rear, there is a two-bay range with a modern porch and door also on the south side, along with a later box dormer.

The original timber, border-glazed diamond-pane windows have mostly been replaced by modern windows, with only one remaining. The cottage has a piended roof with boarded soffits, grey slates, and features coped brick diamond stacks at the front and a coped octagonal ashlar stack at the rear.
