Description
The Walled Garden at Clifton Park dates from the mid-19th century and features a near square-plan layout, covering approximately 3,600 square meters. The outer walls are constructed from whinstone rubble with tiled coping, while the inner linings to the north, east, and west are made of red brick, with the northern section partially whitewashed. The garden is missing its greenhouses.
Adjoining the northwest corner is a single-storey shed, which has a rectangular plan and is finished with whitewashed harl over red brick. The shed has a timber panelled door facing south, overhanging timber bracketed eaves, and a red tile piended roof. The interior of the shed was not seen in 1997.
