Description

The Ice House in Clifton Park is a structure from the later 19th century made of whinstone rubble. It features a brick-vaulted passage that leads to a deep, circular-plan chamber with a brick vault located to the northwest. The building has cream sandstone ashlar dressings around a round-arched doorway that is centered in an arched frontispiece, although the door or gate is missing.
