Description

Circa 1865 with later alterations. Single storey with basement, 3-bay gabled cottage slightly advanced at centre and set on sloping site. Painted harl; droved cream sandstone dressings. Overhanging timber bracketed eaves; sandstone strip quoins; sandstone margins; projecting cills.

N (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: gabled bay advanced at centre with pentice porch surmounting boarded timber door. Single windows in bays recessed to outer left and right; skylights aligned above.

S (REAR) ELEVATION: single window at ground off-set to left of centre; single windows in bays to outer left and right; skylights above.

W (SIDE) ELEVATION: basement door in bay to outer right.

Predominantly 8-pane glazing in timber sash and case windows; some modern glazing at rear; skylights to front and rear. Graded grey slate roof; some cast-iron rainwater goods. Brick built ridge stack at centre; circular cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1997.
