Description
The bridge at Caverton Mill, dated 1842, features two segmental arches that span the Kale Water. It is constructed from droved sandstone ashlar and includes two string courses, with one marking the edge of the voussoirs. The parapet has a projecting cope that steps up in the center over datestones and is splayed at the ends, ending with stumpy piers topped by piended capstones. Additionally, there is a rounded stepped cutwater.
