Description

Probably 1869 and before 1873, built for the Waverley Hydropathic Company Ltd. Originally for the pumpman controlling the water supply from St Helen's Well. Built in mass concrete, with a fine render lined as ashlar (ground floor now pebble-dashed). 2-storey asymmetrical

cottage (said to have large tanks in the roof). Porch on E side, 1st floor entrance on the S. 1st floor windows and door with bold cast mouldings to the reveals, boldly moulded apron panels also cast. Mainly 4-pane glazing. Fish scale slate to porch; slate roof, large central stack.
