Description
12 High Cross Avenue is a mid-19th century, symmetrical two-storey, three-bay villa. The central bay features a gabled roof and a Tuscan columned porch at the ground level, which supports a canted bay window. The first floor has a tripartite window. There are square projecting bays on both the left and right sides, each with tripartite windows on the ground and first floors, and they are corniced with a blocking course above. The villa is constructed from coursed square rubble with freestone dressings and has a piended slated roof with tall rectangular coped stacks.
