Description
Eildon Bank, located at 2 Weirhill in Melrose, dates from around the 1840s and has later additions. The building is two stories high and features three bays constructed from coursed squared rubble with droved dressings. It has a central pilastered doorpiece and a piended, slated platform roof with a corniced end stack on the east side. To the west, the building has been extended by one bay, which includes a canted bay at the ground level, also topped with a piended, slated roof and a corniced end stack.
