Description

1863 single-storey and attic. Picturesque double cottage,

coursed red sand-stone rubble with contrasting polished

ashlar dressings. Pointed entrance door with square

hood-mould to right, gabled attic dormer over with modern

platform roofed dormer beside it. Advanced gabled bay to

centre with piended canted bay at ground and pointed

bipartite window at attic; recessed wing to left has later

porch to front. Broad-eaved slated roof with barge-boards

and finials. Grouped brick stacks.
