Description

Before 1823. Single storey and attic, 3-bay traditional cottage with deep-set door and fine decoratively-astragalled fanlight, in Stonehaven's New Town. Squared and coursed red sandstone rubble.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Centre bay with recessed steps up to panelled timber door and deep fanlight, windows in flanking bays and polygonal-roofed canted dormers over outer bays flanking diminutive rooflight.

Original 12-pane glazing with 4-pane glazing pattern to dormers, all in timber sash and case windows. Coped ashlar stacks with thackstanes and cans. Ashlar-coped skews.
