Description

42 Cameron Street in Stonehaven is a pair of two-storey houses with an attic, built before 1823. They are part of a longer terrace in the town's new area and are constructed from large blocks of squared and coursed rubble.

The south elevation of each house is symmetrical, featuring a central door and windows in the flanking bays, with regular window arrangements on the first floor. The house on the left, number 44, has a full-width box dormer.

The houses have modern non-traditional glazing and are topped with grey slates. The chimneys are made of coped squared rubble with cans, and there is an ashlar-coped skew to the east.
