Description
38 Cameron Street in Stonehaven is a row of three two-storey, two-bay houses built before 1823, located within a larger terrace in the town's new area. The houses are harled with narrow stone margins.
The south elevation features Nos 34 and 36 on the right, which have two closely aligned doors at the center below windows, with additional windows on each floor to the right and left. No 38 has a door below a window on the right and a window on each floor to the left. Although all doors are modern, the fanlights have been retained, with those for Nos 34 and 38 being two-pane.
No 38 has plate glass glazing in non-traditional timber sash and case windows, while No 34 has uPVC windows and No 36 features modern hardwood windows. The roofs are covered with grey slates, and a single ridge stack has been rebuilt in brick but retains its thackstane.
