41 Cameron Street, Stonehaven

43 Cameron Street in Stonehaven is a mid-19th century terraced house, likely incorporating elements from the late 18th century. It has been converted into two flats and features stone-pedimented dormer heads. The building is harled with stone margins on the north side and squared rubble with Aberdeen bond and stugged margins on the south side.

On the north elevation, the ground floor has an off-centre left boarded timber door and a window in the bay to the left. To the right, there is another boarded timber door with a 2-pane fanlight and a window beyond. A tall stair window is positioned off-centre to the right, and there are two first-floor windows that break the eaves into stone pediments.

The south elevation, facing Carron Terrace, has a central bay at ground level with a timber door and 2-pane fanlight, a window to the right, and a later square-plan tripartite window projecting to the left. The first floor has two windows, each breaking the eaves into a stone-finialled pediment.

The windows are timber sash and case with a 4-pane glazing pattern, and there is a 6-pane etched glass stair window with coloured margins. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are coped squared rubble stacks with thackstanes and cans, some of which are polygonal. The skews are ashlar-coped.

Inside No. 41 Cameron Street (3 Carron Terrace), there are decorative plasterwork cornices, a screen door with etched glass, decorative cast-iron balusters, and a timber fire surround.

The property is enclosed by stepped, flat-coped, rubble boundary walls.
