Description
8 Maxwellheugh Terrace in Kelso is a single-storey and attic double cottage built in 1863, designed in a Picturesque style. The entrances on the left and right feature bracketed slated hoods, with gabled attic dormers positioned above. The central bay is slightly advanced and includes a canted bay window at the ground level, along with a jettied timber-framed canted bay above in the attic. The cottage has a broad-eaved slated roof adorned with barge boards and finials, and the rendered chimney stacks are grouped at the center.
