Description

The War Memorial at Calzeat, built in 1920, is an obelisk made of grey whin stone. It features a moulded plaque that is inscribed with the words, "In reverent and loving memory of those from this parish who laid down their lives in the Great War for liberty and righteousness." This memorial honors the individuals from the parish who served and sacrificed during the 1914-18 conflict.
