Description
Rosebank Lodge and its gatepiers, located on Shedden Park Road in Kelso, were built in the later 19th century. The lodge is a single-storey structure featuring canted ends and is constructed from snecked rubble with polished dressings. At the center of the west front, there is an open timber gabled porch flanked by bipartite windows and single light windows in the canted bays. The building has octagonal stacks over the end bays and a piended slated roof. The gatepiers consist of a pair of rectangular ashlar piers with chamfered angles, which are connected by coped quadrant walls to smaller, similar terminal piers.
