Description

Lyme Cottage, located at 53 Shedden Park Road in Kelso, was built in 1824 by Andrew Pirie. This two-storey building features three bays and has an original central door that is now glazed as a window. The exterior is constructed from coursed squared stone with ashlar margins, and it has a gabled roof with straight skews. There are brick stacks at each end, and the roof is slated. A later single-storey extension has been added to the west side of the cottage.
