Description
Clinkscales is an earlier 19th century building that originally functioned as a two-house block. It is two storeys high and has four bays, with corniced doors located in the centre bays; the left-hand door has been blocked and converted into a window. The structure is made of coursed squared rubble with droved ashlar dressings. The right-hand house still features its original 12-pane double sash glazing. The building has straight skews, rectangular coped end-stacks, and slated roofs. There is also a later two-storey recessed single bay link that connects it to the former Town House.
