Description

Circa 1909. Detached 2-storey and attic recreational institute, with basement on falling ground to N. English Arts and Crafts manner, white harled with revealed read sandstone ashlar dressings; half timbered and barge boarded gables; red tiled roofs with swept timber bracketted overhanging eaves, red clay ridge tiles and finials; multi-paned glazing, mostly 6-paned, fixed below, with 4-pane top hoppers.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: 3-bay: continuous ground floor cill band carried across 2 2-storey left hand bays and projecting gabled right hand bays, which has additional basement floor. Full-height polygonal angle
