Description
Rosebank, located on Alice Street in Paisley, is an early 19th century single-storey villa built over a raised basement, featuring a dormerless attic and three bays. The exterior is made of painted ashlar, accented by clasping pilasters and a slightly advanced pedimented center. The basement entrance is flanked by 12-pane sash windows, and there is a band course above. The original main door, which has been converted into a window, features a semi-circular fanlight and a modern balcony, with the steps to the entrance removed. The outer bays have flanking sash windows with cill bands, while there is a blind window on the west side. The building has an eaves cornice and a blocking course, topped with a piended slate roof that includes corniced end stacks.
